Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any items that cannot be removed from my credit report?
Any information reported by the credit bureau is subject to investigation with the potential to be removed. This includes, but is not limited to, items that are obsolete, misleading, inaccurate, unverifiable, or outdated. Since each case is unique it is impossible to guarantee the removal of all negative items from a client's report.

Can bad credit items really be deleted?
Yes! Once again, any items that are misleading, inaccurate, unverifiable, or outdated are subject to investigation. A case must be established demonstrating these claims, allowing negative items to be removed from your file and raising your credit score.

Can credit repair companies be trusted?
Many credit repair companies make big claims to completely erase a client's bad credit 100% within a short period of time. While these claims are fraudulent, credit repair companies like Island Elite Credit Corp. promise to work with their clients by using the legal system to benefit you and help you remove unwanted bad credit. Unfortunately, no credit repair company can guarantee results. This is for the sole reason that no company can predict a person's final outcome that renders such services. It may be a long journey before you get the credit you deserve. But you can be sure, we will be by your side each step of the way!

How long does it take to repair a person's credit?
Nearly all of our clients have seen positive results within the first 45 days of our review of your credit reports. Understanding the timeline that the 3 major credit bureaus use will be imperative to your understanding of how quickly your credit will improve. Credit bureaus have 30 days to investigate inquiries and reply. Our goal is for you to see results as quickly as possible. After all, we have been where you are and realize how important it is to restore your credit standing. Unfortuantely, each client's credit circumstances are different, therefore individual results and timelines may vary.

How much will it cost and how long will the services take?
It will only cost $279.00 for an individual and $499.00 per couple! As negative items are removed or updated to a positive status, you will receive an itemized invoice of only $29 for each deleted or corrected negative account. Imagine increasing your credit score 20,30,40 or more points for only $29! One negative deleted item can save you thousands of dollars in interest charges for a one time fee of only $29.00! Also the process consists of a 6 month timeframe. Almost all of our clients have never came back for a second round due to the exceptional results we get in the first 6 months alone. Many other credit repair companies tie you in to a year long contract for a very expensive price, and do not get anywhere near the superior and quality results as our company does. Although if we do feel your credit needs some "extra work", we will recommend a second round depending on your prior results.

Should I try fixing my credit on my own?
As in the court of law, you can represent yourself. It is possible for people to fix their own credit. It simply depends on how much time a person is willing to devote toward repairing their credit score. Island Elite Credit Corp. will act as your "lawyer" or "legal advisor" by aiding you in rebuilding your credit score.

What is a credit score and how does it affect me?
A credit score is a number between 350 and 850 that is found on your credit report. This number advises lenders of your credit worthiness. Your credit report will contain information on your credit history, address history, active and inactive accounts, derogatory items such as collections, liens, and late payments. It will also indicate your limits and balances and determine what kind of spending habits you have and if you are a risk for repayment to lenders.

Why is a credit score so important?
Credit scores are the industry standard in determining credit worthiness. The lower the score the harder it is to obtain funding. In cases where credit scores are higher, lenders not only offer competitive interest rates, but often offer incentives which save you money and increase your buying power.Credit scoring takes a total picture of a person's creditworthiness. The Scores analyze a credit history, in comparison to other debtors, and gauge the likelihood of overall financial risk.
